Jared Nelson
Personal Trainer, Operations Manager
M.S.. Exercise Physiology Certified Personal Trainer - CSCS – NSCA CPR/AED Certified – American Red Cross Originally from Atlanta, GA, Jared moved to the Mountain West region in high school and eventually relocated to Laramie to attend the University of Wyoming. He graduated in 2020 with his B.A. in Exercise Science, earned his M.S. in Exercise Physiology in 2023, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA. Jared is the Operations Manager and a Personal Trainer here at Altitude Fitness and is the Lead Exercise Scientist for the Wyoming Senior Wellness Initiative. His approach to personal training is tailoring each session to meet individuals at their unique entry point into physical exercise. He focuses on helping individuals achieve their athletic, health, and lifestyle goals while educating clients with evidence-based exercise prescriptions. Jared’s hobbies include grappling, weightlifting, and outdoor sports.
Katy Hall
Personal Trainer
M.S., Exercise and Sports Science Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist – NSCA B.S., Kinesiology and Health Promotion Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach – CSCCA Certified Personal Trainer – NSCA CPR/AED Certified Katy Hall graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2013, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion. Upon completing her undergraduate degree, she immediately began the Kinesiology graduate program at UW. She completed her Master’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science, with an emphasis in Exercise and Sport Psychology in December of 2016. Katy is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, CSCS. While attending UW, she competed for five years for the cowgirl’s track and field team primarily as a 60–meter and 100–meter hurdler. During her time as a Cowgirl, she was able to achieve honors on the track and in the classroom as both a Mountain West All Conference team member and Mountain West Scholar Athlete. Katy is excited to be a part of Altitude Fitness because she has a profound passion for training and conditioning because of her own personal experiences and wants to share that with others. Her passion for athletics is what drives her to help others achieve their goals.
Madeline Ewell
Personal Trainer
B.S Exercise Science Maddie graduated from Southern Utah University Magna Cum Laude with her BS in Exercise Science where she also received her Minor in Coaching and Physical Education. Along with her degree, she also is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. She played Collegiate Volleyball for two years. She also likes to play Volleyball, Pickleball, and going on Hikes in her free time.
Matthew Gardner

B.S., Kinesiology and Health Promotion Certified Personal Trainer – NSCA CPR/AED – American Red Cross Matthew Gardner graduated from the University of Wyoming in the fall of 2023 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion. Matt’s passion for personal training and fitness was sparked after personal experiences made him realize that it can have such a positive effect on mental and emotional health. After seeing those effects in his own life, he wants to share his experience and knowledge with others to bring positive change to their lives. Matt is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In his free time, he enjoys weight lifting, hiking, and country swing dance.
Keeley Puls

A.S., Agriculture Communucations A.S., Psychology with a focus on Health Science Certified Personal Trainer – ExpertRating Keeley Puls is a Laramie local who graduated from Eastern Wyoming College with Associates degrees in Agriculture Communications and Psychology, with a focus in Health Science. She is currently working towards a degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at the University of Wyoming, and will be a part of the UW rodeo team in the fall where she competes in goat tying and breakaway roping. A drive for knowledge about the health industry is something that Keeley has had since her early years of high school. She has a passion for helping her clients create a lifestyle focused around their personal health. When Keeley is not in the gym, she can be found outside working with her horses, hiking, or enjoying all that the Medicine Bow Range has to offer.
