
Katy Hall, Facility Manager
Katy Hall graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2013, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion. Upon completing her undergraduate degree, she immediately began the Kinesiology graduate program at UW. She will be completing her Master’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science, with an emphasis in Exercise and Sport Psychology in December of 2016. Katy is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is currently working towards becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, CSCS. While attending UW, she competed for five years for the cowgirl’s track and field team primarily as a 60–meter and 100–meter hurdler. During her time as a Cowgirl, she was able to achieve honors on the track and in the classroom as both a Mountain West All Conference team member and Mountain West Scholar Athlete. Katy is excited to be a part of Altitude Fitness because she has a profound passion for training and conditioning because of her own personal experiences and wants to share that with others. Her passion for athletics is what drives her to help others achieve their goals.

Jared Nelson, Shift Manager
Originally from Aurora, Colorado, Jared came to Laramie, Wyoming to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology at the University of Wyoming. He enjoys living a fitness-based lifestyle, with a focus on training calistenthics and compound weightlifting. He also enjoys skiing, snowboarding, skimboarding, and swimming. In the future he intends to expand his knowledge as a strength and conditioning coach, and maintains a constant goal of physically improving himself and becoming the most capable, functional athlete that he can be. Jared is excited to be a part of the AF team because “I’m excited to be a part of such a well-rounded fitness community, where I can share my knowledge and help others to reach their physical potential. I look forward to bettering myself as both a coach and an athlete.”

Ryland Wood, Shift Manager
Ryland is a local who has spent his life here in Laramie and earned a degree in Communications from the University of Wyoming. Ryland enjoys video games and comic books in his free time and wants to become a voice actor someday. He is excited about the new experience that being in a gym environment brings and hopes to learn more about exercise.

Bryce Parvin
Bryce was born and raised here in Laramie and attended Laramie High, where he played multiple sports for the Plainsmen including football, basketball, and track. He has always enjoyed the camaraderie of sports, training and competing with his friends, and playing video games together when they’re not on the field. Bryce plans to attend the University of Wyoming to study kinesiology with the intent of becoming a Physical Therapist. He has always loved training here at Altitude for the great environment it provides. Bryce is happy to be around a group of great people here at Altitude and excited to be a part of the team!

Chris Means
Chris is originally from Casper, he attended Kelly Walsh High School and graduated in 2019. Throughout high school, he played hockey and was varsity captain and a junior and senior. During high school, Chris got into working out for personal health benefits. He enjoys the outdoors, hiking, fly fishing and exploring. Currently, Chris is a junior at UW seeking a degree in finance. He really enjoys the environment at Altitude Fitness and is thrilled to be a part of the team!

Reno Rich
Reno is originally from Douglas, Wyoming, and came to Laramie to study at UW. Reno enjoys sports and working out, hoping to someday pursue a personal training certification. He has always seen Altitude as a great working environment and is excited to be a part of it.
